Jetti's Beat Policy
Exclusive Rights:
$200-$300.00 - Purchasing Exclusive rights gives you the option to use the beat for as many releases as you're heart may desire. EP, LP, single, live performances, radio play, etc. Example: You can release a single using the beat, and you may also use it on your LP. Once Exclusive rights are purchased, the beat cannot be resold. The beat will be removed by purchasers request. I still will own the copyright, must be credited for making the beat, and royalty issues apply. Obtaining Exclusive Rights is the most common type of beat purchase in the market.
Full Exclusive Rights Purchase:
$400-600.00 - Purchasing the Full Exclusive rights to a beat means the copyright is exchanged to purchaser. I do not collect royalties, nor do I need to be credited as creating the beat. Purchasing the copyright makes the beat 100% yours to do whatever you'd like with it. Upon purchase, I no longer own the copyright.
Payment Options:
PayPal - (You need a PayPal account. Free - www.paypal.com) Login to your account, use the "Send Money" function, and send agreed amount (US Dollars) to kidlightning9@aol.com. Be sure to include your shipping address. I'll email you to verify that I recieved payment, and I'll send the beat out next day. Along with the beat, you'll recieve a contract stating I created the instrumental, our conditions agreed upon and that I am giving you exclusive or Full Exclusive rights.
Check/Money Order - I attach a contract stating our terms, you print it out, sign it, send it to my mailing address along with payment. I sign it, make a copy, and return it to you with the beat.
Beat Formats that you will recieve:
Wav (Data format) - Separated, full tracks for studio use w/ PC.
Aif (Data format) - Separated, full tracks for studio use w/ MAC. (Optional)
Audio CD - Playable in most CD Players. Can be used as a reference for mixing/mastering.
Paperwork:
You may be required to sign a written contract stating our terms once we agree on beat purchases. If you pay using PayPal (See Payment Info), the contract will be sent with the beat(s). If you pay with Check/Money Order, a copy of the contract will be emailed to you, of which you can print out, sign, and send to me along with payment.
