Divided We Fall (CO)
Divided We Fall consists of five members, all from the denver metro area. Although all from very different musical backgrounds, our different styles have merged together to bring you what we find to be a pretty energetic, and refreshing new sound.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Theres quite a bit of this.. myself, Brandon, the lead singer have been playing and producing music since I could remember. I started on a piano when i was 12 years old, after a few years of lessons, strings really struck my interest. Graduating to my first guitar at 16 I was pulled to the dark side immediately. Learning everything I could from Nirvana to Blink 182 I played.. as cliche as it may be.. till my fingers bled.
Years went by, my musical tastes changed a bit, influenced alot by my geographical location.. Hip Hop comes easy when you live down south! So I started with some beat productions, molded with my riff writing on the guitar, had started to develop a very unique sound. I crossed paths with a gentleman who calls himself "Paradeyes".. he was truly a lyrical genious!
I dabbled in the industry for a while before trying my hand as an emcee.. it progressed. Quickly. And by this point I had made my way to colorado.. meeting my bass player, Jason Green. I once again was drug back to the dark side.
After countless nites and countless beers in our shop at the work place with his bass slapping and my guitar crunching he talked me in front of a microphone. Having been rapping for years, the mic was far from intimidating.. but i didn't sing! or so i thought....
It worked. Well. And now after a few lessons, a few months, and lots of mic time.. we have something were proud of. Our rythm guitarist Chris Bartch and Jason have known eachother for years, he was an easy, and immediate addition to the band. After some browsing and a little trial and error we aquired our drummer, AJ Hamilton from a mutual friend of mine. (they go to college together) and lastly our lead guitarist, Chris Madrana graced us with his presence, and abilities. Now here we are today!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We do play live.. and love it! The energy of a crowd that gets into your music is irreplaceable. Best "High" of our lives so to speak. Every moment on stage is more memorable than the last.. For updates on shows and venues be sure and like us on facebook.. keep yourself up to date!

Your musical influences
Anything good really. We all have a strong appreciation for "good" music. If it showcases a little talent, some thinking outside of the box, and a few nice guitar riffs we normally give it a shot! The hard thing with such a saturated music industry is the sound alikes.. and alot of bands sound like there predecessors... i think thats what we are trying to avoid most. Influence is good.. Imitation is not!
