Divergence
Divergence is a straight up hard rock band with a progressive edge. The band's mission is to put out music with feel, meaning and intensity. Shaun Lindsey (vocals)and Pappy Smear(Bass) share progressive influences, while gutarists Chris Picklo (Lead Guitar) and Nick Brooks (Rythm Guitar)draw from hard rock and blues influences. Rob Hunkins (drums)fields a variety of genres, pulling influences from jazz to hardcore. This isn't a band that plays 3 chords; there are guitar harmonies and solos reminiscent of Iron Maiden and complex rythms. There's a musicianship and a live show that you don't see much of today.
