Born in Iowa City in a house by a football stadium which was peed on all the time by drunken fans (the house not the stadium) and raised in the hum-drum city of Ladue, Isaac Hoft has transformed from a young, nose-picking kindergardener to the young musician you see today. Post-graduation of Ladue Horton Watkins High School, Ditch moves to Southern California to start spreading his message of peace, love and rock to the world at the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies.
Yes. Usually at school. 90% of the time it rivals sex. A Battle of the Bands with an old metal band I was in In high school constitutes the most fun I've had at a show yet.
I'm into pretty much everything: folk, rock (classic and all other kinds) , blues (especially when its from 1920 or earlier), jazz, hip-hop, funk, electronic, African, Latin, Eastern, Caribbean, classical, (some) pop... I think there is pretty much a time and place for any kind of music.
I also really like mixes, jams, instrumentals and rock ballads. Anything over five minutes.
