Goth Rock

Disciples of Sorrow was started early in 1998 by Keith van Zyl and Allen Simpson in an attempt to create a different sounding Gothic style of music. The two band members were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, and became the best of friends. Both shared a pure fascination for the darkness and are both devoted goths. The music of Disciples of Sorrow has a distinctively different sound to it, as it is a mixture of Goth, Industrial and New age music. The music of this band has also been played on a local campus radio station and at the local Goth club.
