Dirty Fire Project
Hard edged electronic music from writer musicians M.J. Langley and Mouse.
Bringing diverse influences to the production process, Dirty Fire Project's tracks include dark-chill ambience and pacey breaks with an industrial sound.
With experience ranging from soundtracking and studio production to DJ-ing and having an ear for good breaks, this is steadily turning from a hobby into an extremely fulfilling part of their lives. Passing on that thrill of what this music means to them has become so important.
We hope you enjoy our work!

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No live appearances yet. We've both been in a few bands and played mainstream style gigs before though.
Your musical influences
Main influences are industrial, breakbeat and drum'n'bass. Some of the tracks we're working on are kind of ambient/trancey too so it's hard to put a finger on it. The mix between smooth elements and dirty drums raises very satisfactory goosebumps. We're trying to get more work doing soundtracking so that lends a different feel and attitude to the way we work.
What equipment do you use?
Roland synth, VST bits and pieces, Fruityloops and Ableton Live.
Mouse: Live is turning into an amazing piece of software that I advise everybody checks out.
