Diggity Dave and his Cheap Guitar Band
I started playing guitar in Jan. of 07 and formed Diggity Dave and his Cheap Guitar Band. Currently I have 2 cassettes/CD's out entitled: "Live at Ireson's Pub" and "Too Much Grainy Alcohol"..I am in the works on my 3rd and 4th albums as of now, which will be called "Through The Crevasses Of The Couch" and "Gravy And Vittles".
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jan. 07- The birth.
March 07- First show Ireson's Pub in Bristol Tn. with Asheville N.C.'s Flopchopper and Bristol's own The Fury... Heat!
Current day- Working on 2 new albums.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I stopped playing music in 2010. I have played at several places including: The Rock-It Club Bluefield W.V., Hudson's Bar and Grill Madison W.V., 93.7 FM WRIR Richmond Va., Ireson's Pub Bristol Tn, The Acoustic Coffeehouse (now banned) Johnson City Tn., Champs Sports Bar Blacksburg Va., Forest Fest 2007 South West Virginia Forest, Freedom Skate Park Beckley W.V., The Hen House Laundry Mat Lebanon Va...etc. I have had many special moments, each show is way different from the last...it's always swingin with Diggity Dave!!

My influences are...in this order...Hasil Adkins, Woody Guthrie, Daniel Johnston, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Leadbelly, Kurt Cobain and Me.
What equipment do you use?
I use Shure SM58 mics, Orange Dunlop Pics, Shure mic. stands, D'Addario Chromes strings, 1978 Peavey Deuce Amp, and an Old Kraftsman Acoustic/Electric Guitar. and a 70's Panasonic tape recorder deck.
