Born and raised in Battle Creek , Michigan , this multi talented Rapper, Singer/Song Writer and Producer Doug Digg-Dugg Hart is somebody you just might be very familiar with. Known for his past number #1 hit singles and album releases with the groups PUMP and 616, and now for the highly anticipated final 616 album release and his Digg Dugg debut solo release.
Digg Dugg has done multiple music production for many independent and major label artists threw out Michigan to Nashville Tennessee. He has Owned and operated his own independent record label, recording studio and production company entitled Digg Dugg Ent for the last 10 years. Digg Duggs true stardom began many years ago when he self produced and released his #1 single release entitled, Dougie Jam & Orlando - I LIKE . Followed up by his three number one singles and debut album release by PUMP. The debut album release entitled P.U.M.P - THE ARRIVAL was a big success when it was released on November of 1999. The first single release off their album entitled I LIKE broke local ground like no other competing band. I LIKE was featured on the Top Eight At Eight Countdown on WKFR 103 FM and reached the # 1 spot for more then three weeks, bumping the Backstreet Boys down the chart. The song also achieved the 22 spot on West Michigans Sound Scan. The second single release Changes eclipsed the success of I LIKE, which the new single sold out of local malls in two hours and reached 12 spot, one ahead of 98 degrees. The ballad Only U was an immediate success; the song went five for five on the new music shoot out beating out superstar acts like Mariah Carey and Joe, inducting them into the New Music Hall Of Fame. Selling over 20 thousand units independently threw out Michigan.
Digg-Duggs new solo endeavors has been compared to such artists as Twista, Eminem, and Bubba Sparxx. His lyrical skills and stylish reality approach is a must have to any unsuspecting Hip-Hop and R&B music listeners.
