Hi, I'm Wilf Dieter. I did a project on my own just before I formed a band and recorded 12 songs. Some of these songs we will be doing eventually, but until then I have these recordings. The band I'm in is called 'Awake in a Coma' and we have a song on these charts called 'One Night Stand' which I sing back-up and Ian Giles sings lead vox.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My band use to play at the open jam in Pilot Butte, Sask. and had a show in Regina but we just formed and are focusing on recording presently.
Your musical influences
Jimi Hendrix is one of my biggest influences. Metallica obviously is one. Iron Maiden, Kirt Cobain, Chris Cornell. Slash and Stevie Ray Vaughn for guitarists. Can't forget about Led Zeppelin.
What equipment do you use?
G&L S-500 custom ordered and a Washburn WI-66V for guitars. Roland Cube60 amp. Boss V-Wah for added effects is all I need.
