Di Anne is currently a FoxFire Recording Country Music Artist from South Mississippi. Di Anne Foxx was Airplay International's "Entertainer Of The Year" for year 2001 and in year 2000 her album "Are You An Angel" won "Country Album Of The Year" She has been presented with numerous other awards and commendations for her work in music and also for the support she gives to our Veterans, the elderly and the handicapped.

Di Anne was inducted in 2006, but Bob Timmers from the Hall of Fame was not

through with the design for the Certificates. So on Christmas Eve, 2007

(perfect timing for a Christmas Gift), Di Anne received her certificate in the mail!

Di Anne Foxx Achievements keep Growing

Independent Artist, Di Anne Foxx, a native of Picayune, MS, has done something that few major artists can claim credit to. Di Anne has signed an agreement for Warner Brothers Studio to use her music vocals in the motion picture entitled "Lucky You". This film is directed by Curtis Hanson who is also known for such box office hits as " L.A. Confidential," Wonder Boys " and " 8 Mile ". Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana, Oscar winner Robert Duvall, and Debra Messing round out the all-star cast for this production. Screenplay written by Oscar winning screenwriters, Curtis Hanson and Eric Roth.

This film is the story of a professional poker player ( Eric Bana) who gets a lesson in life from a struggling singer played by Drew Barrymore, as he collides with his estranged father played by Robert Duvall. The story is centered around the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Di Anne was notified that the scene, using her voice, was deleted along with the scene next to it, and would only be included in the "Deleted Scenes" on the DVD. "Lucky You" was released on DVD, September 18th, 2007.

Debra Messing lip-synchs to Di Anne's version of "Bartenders Blues", written by James Taylor, while doing a mermaid scene underwater. Di Anne released this song on her last album, "Tainted Rose". The album has won Di Anne numerous awards in Nashville, two of which are from the ICMA for "Entertainer of The Year" and the "American Heritage Award". The last award was for active roll by performances Di Anne has taken for our Veterans, the disabled and the elderly. The album has also achieved the status of "Airplay Platinum" from Radio Station Airplay and product sales through ICMA. Di Anne is also a strong and well known advocate of saving our planet and her album included a song supporting "Earth Day" which has become a standard for that cause and is played nationwide every year on Earth Day.

Di Anne has been a friend of Turtle Pond for many years now. She was a favorite of the Late Earl Phelps who was our talent scout and " Uncle Earl " to all who knew him. No one here was at all surprised to hear of this accomplishment. This is just a short word about my photo/logo: There is a Rebel type image in my logo. This is in no way a racist or hate issue. I believe in equal rights for all people. I have no hatred for any other race. But I do believe that the Rebel flag is about my Heritage, not about hatred. I also don't think that most people have any idea what the Flag is really about, and most don't even have a clear understanding of what the Civil war was completely about. If my posting this logo hurts anyone's feelings, I apologize, this is not what I'm trying to do. No matter what people say or think, the Rebel Flag IS a Southern Thing and few people who are not from the South just don't understand! I am an American, a Southerner, and have many ancestors who fought and died for the South. Not about race, but about principals. I respect all people and races who deserve respect. Not based on their color or religion, but based on how they represent themselves and their actions towards others!

Most of all I respect God and our Planet Earth!

Di Anne Foxx! has performed in various locations throughout the United States and in recent years has preceded such names as LeAnne Rimes, Sawyer Brown, Mark Chestnutt and Bryan White at the Franklinton Fair and Southern Festival Grounds respectively. Di Anne has also shared a stage with Lacy J. Dalton in Auburn, Washington. Di Anne has signed a recording contract with Foxfire Records of Nashville, TN and is working to complete an unfinished album that she was working on when her producer passed away.

Now Di Anne is working on putting together a gospel ablum after numerous request for one along with a Christmas album too.

Di Anne Foxx has played throughout the United States. She has performed from Georgia to Washington state and many places between. However, at this time Di Anne is concentrating her time to a new album.
