Composed while looking at a candle and thinking of Macario, a Mexican movie about a man who makes a pact with the devil for healing powers. Title translates to 'Macario used to work here'.
I finally got around to actually enjoying this one. Written for an appearance on Arya Imig's Sound Judgement show in June of 2006. Read the story for info about the title etc.
Recorded December 24, Christmas Eve 2006. Other performers: aunt, uncle, cousin, cousin's huband, cousins once removed, girlfriend of cousin once removed. Recorded with an onboard mic and processed live in SuperCollider.
