i guess my parents were in love @ some point and felt it was a good idea to have sex. so i'm here now, and i don't really like waiting tables, writing for newspapers, teaching english, or most of the music that's out. so i rap. great.

yup. mostly here in the 5ive 1ne 8ght (Albany/Schenectady/Troy, NY) but i've worked hard @ the do it yourself thing for a while now. that combined with the fact that there are very, talented AND good people out there who actually want to make something out of themselves instead of being their crews', "yo, i know this kid who's NICE." musical mascot. so i've gotten out. Baltimore, Boston, Worchester, Rhode Island, LI, Brooklyn, the Bronx. but my favorite places to play are here @ home where i can work on my shaping my community and not necessarily someone else's. and do i like it? of fucking course i like it. i love it. i need it. i would've stopped a long time ago if i didn't like getting out and performing. that's where it all begins and ends. putting your shit on the line right there in front of someone whether they like it or not. i mean, yeah it's a good thing to have people like your music but i'm not going to drive myself up a wall trying to paint the ceiling the way you want me to. i just want to get the shit out of my system. any special moments? lemme think, well, most of em are like the post coital crowd reaction that i get off on. i guess the last really special moment @ a show was a BRFinley's in Troy. it was a transition between songs my crew (Fund The Mentals) and i improvised with a beat box and a good feeling from the crowd that just turned into a new song on the spot. that shit is special to me. when the crowd is in unison with you and your performance and you can take them anywhere you want. that shit just reminds why i'm still alive.
