This is my music: my thoughts, my guitar, and my voice. I write songs about life around me, with lyrics that are sometimes witty and always thoughtful. My goal is for people listening to my music think to themselves...yea, that's exactly it!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play small venues like open mics and coffeehouses. I love performing for intimate groups.
Your musical influences
I grew up with folkies like Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, and John Prine. My tastes are very eclectic, and I think I take something away from every songwriter I admire. Add to the list: Kristen Hall, the Indigo Girls, Cheryl Weaver, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dar Williams, Allison Krauss, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens...I could go on and on. There's a vast ocean of good music out there.
