I try somewhat unsuccessfully to DIY.I derange all sound bytes.Fumble fingered guitars to chopping drum beats...& repeat

Alot of death,black,& industrial metal plus some ambient mixed with aural horrorscapes.SYL,Dimmu Borgir,Young Gods,Satyricon,old Skinny Puppy,Spaghetti Western,& so on....
What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk,Wavelab,Esp 207 & M350,Ibanez RG,Line6 POD,& fits of pounding drum sequences..
KISS(keep it simple stupid)...
