Detra Britt-Williams
I am a Psalmist, and have been singing the gospel all of my life. I enjoy what I do very much. I know that this is a calling from God. He has appointed me and anointed me for his purpose. I look to the movement that he has en-stored for this ministry. Spreading the Good news of JESUS.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Singing since the age of two. Appeared on "Spread a Little Sunshine", opened for "Five Blind Boys from Mississippi", and "The Four Harmanizers of Richmand". Music Director for twelve years.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Perform live every Sundy, go to Nursing homes,and outreach programs. Along with engagements at Gospel Cafes and Opening for Comody events. Enjoy singing very much. Special moments are when people feel the power of God through sing, that allow me to know the it is reaching them right were they are.
