Detached (GR)
My name is Kimon Zeliotis and i'm the only member of the band Detached. I play all guitars and i program all the rest with my computer.
Some of my favorite bands and basic influences are in no particular order: Iced Earth, Metallica, Nevermore, Death, Pain Of Salvation, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Symphony X, Pantera, Meshuggah...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've never played live.
Your musical influences
I started out listening to heavy metal and bands like iced earth, death, metallica at first then later dream theater, symphony x, nevermore, pain of salvation, meshuggah anathema etc. After several years i discovered pink floyd which are to this day one of my favorite bands. These days most of the music i listen to comes from Soundtracks. Some of my favorite are Solaris, Insomnia, Mothman prophecies, whale rider, memento, lord of the rings, Silence of the lambs etc.
I would say that my music is a fusion of all the above.
What equipment do you use?
I have a lefthanded Schecter C7 blackjack guitar and play through a Pod Xt.
