Destroy By Design
Destroy By Design is a 5-piece political metal band from Spring Hill, Tennessee. Destroy By Design formed in 2002 with Josh, Jason and James wanting to put together a metal band with a hip-hop influence. After playing as a three piece, BJ, a guitarist, joined the group as the bass player. Playing around Nashville and the surrounding area, they started to build a name for themselves. Known for their energetic live shows and catchy riffs and hooks, people started to jump on the DBD bandwagon. The group decided that BJ would be better off on lead guitar and the hunt began for a new bass player. Jamie joined in 2004 as the new bass player and the band began writing new material. DBD started playing out more to help develop a bigger fan base. DBD has played some of the best venues in Nashville and keeps making new fans with each show they play.
