Hey all! My name is Kuhl but also go by Desperately Seeking Solitude. I am not part of a band; it's just me as a solo artist. I started writing lyrics at age 14 and recording at age 16. I use my own recording equipment so the sound quality of my tracks isn't as great as I would like. Hopefully someday I could get enough funds to record in a studio again.Band/artist history
It's always been just me.... there was a point in time that I collaborated with some rap buddies and I also like to collaborate with people who like to sing, so I can use them on my hooks and in my backgrounds of my tracks.Have you performed in front of an audience?I would if I had the opportunity; have not yet because my lyrics are personal and sometimes it's hard for me to imagine speaking them to an audience.
Your musical influences
I personally love listening to Blue October because of the emotions and stories they have to offer in their lyrics. They're my favorite but when it comes to music, I appreciate and will listen to pretty much anything.What equipment do you use?
I use all of my own equipment. If I'm making my own beats, I use my electric keyboard and my Fender. Otherwise when I record, I just use my computer and a four channel mixer and mic.Anything else?
Just a thanks to every single person who gives my music a listen. It means so much to me that my lyrics are getting out and hopefully people everywhere can connet with what I have to say in them.
