My name is Dennis McElroy. I'm a former guitarist/vocalist for a popular local cover band until an accident, followed by a couple of surgeries sidelined me from doing live gigs for awhile. My most notable gig was at Veteran's Stadium in Philadelphia for WYSP's Toys For Tots motorcycle run; we also played for WMMR. Since leaving the band, I've been writing and recording on my own.Band/artist history
For the time being, my focus has been on my writing and recording. But, I have roughly 35 years experience playing in bands and on my own.Have you performed in front of an audience?Not at the moment, however, it may happen in the future. I love playing live and being onstage!
Your musical influences
Definitely, The Beatles were my first love and a huge reason that I play the guitar today. A lot of the alternative bands have given me a recent influence with alternative tunings. Also, Michael Hedges had a big influence on my tunings.Anything else?
