Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Born in Framingham, MA outside of Boston in the summer of 1980, Denis Wright is the founder of Illville Entertainment, a start-up label which fully encompasses the Hiphop culture from music production to clothing and events.
Also the founder of " Illville Soundcrew" who's roster is comprised of the most talented MCs, producers, DJs, graf writers and graphic artists they have encountered in their travels he plans to bring Hiphop back to the streets.
With close to ten different underground CD's released, featuring himself and other Illville associates, he has distributed over six thousand of his full length albums as well as mixtapes from the east coast to the west coast and many of the hottest spots in between including New York, Florida, Detroit, Ohio, and California.
Raised in Halifax Canada, Denis's passion for music was devoloped at an early age by his father, a band leader who played Rock, Soul, and R&B classics. In 1998, after dropping out of college Denis left Halifax and moved to Vancouver, BC for three years which sparked his desire to leave Canada for the U.S. where he would begin his nonstop campaign to not only dominate underground Hiphop but to do so while making a conscious effort to return the genre to it's original roots. A true artist, he paints a verbal picture of reality as he sees it based on his own life experiences.
Denis and his supporting cast, determinted to reach the heights of success, strive at all times to conquer any venture put before them.
In August of 2003, Illville Entertainment hosted their first annual 3 on 3 Charity Basketball tournament which raised money for a friend fighting cancer.
An accomplished studio MC, Denis Wright is no stranger to live shows either having performed in 2 different countries and just under 10 different states of America.
Recently, alongside DJ/Producer v1cToR1oUs, Illville Entertainment has begun filming it's first DVD, "4 da luv uv Hiphop", which will give veiwers an inside look at Hiphop all over North America from the view of an up and coming MC, documenting his statewide collaborations, gigs and experiences.
As of writing this, Denis is currently in the works of finishing off yet another full length album for which they are seeking distrubution, or a deal with a major record label.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Dennis and Illville have performed in Halifax, NS, San Mateo (CA), Detroit (MI), Columbus (OH), Jacksonville (FLA), and all throughout Massachusetts. Every performance is a special moment becuase the public is hearing Illville's music! We love to travel and have the chance to perform live around the country is an unbelievable opportunity!

Denis's passion for music was devoloped at an early age by his father, a band leader who played Rock, Soul, and R&B classics. His music today has consistent crossovers to R&B, Dancehall reggae, Techno, as well as collaboration with some artists from Columbia and Peru. he attracts listeners from everywhere with his versatile style.
