Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It began in August when Jordan was playing a song on the guitar. No one remembers which song it was, but that is inconsequential. Matt, Jordan's roommate, grabbed another guitar and began to what is known as "jam" with Jordan. When they were done, Jordan realized what fun he had just had and decided to form a band. Jump ahead a month. The band is called Side 307 for a bunch of weird and inconsequential reasons, and is preparing for their first gig. (in a friends apartment). They write a few songs, Jordan tries to sing and play guitar while matt tries to play guitar and sing. The first show goes as well as a first show can go with about 15 people in the audience. But they wanted more. So they changed their name to Delusions of Grandeur and recruited their other roommates to pick up the other needed instruments. Unfortunately that didn't work out so it was back to just Matt and Jordan, but the name stuck. Its kinda catchy:) They did another show in their friends apartment (22 people showed; 3 of which drove over 3 hours to see them). By now its December. Christmas break comes, the guys split for break. Jordan writes four new songs. And the band is currently preparing for a small tour of shows in 2004.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, about once a month or so.
