Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Our chill out sessions were first created by Denny alone from about 1996 - 2000 when he finished Djing the Australian club and house party scene. He then met up with Michael Izzy Lynton & Kyle along the way. All sharing an interest in music dehive was furthered formed, now with a vast array of musical talent Michael had sung in many 'rock bands' and the Australian boys choir whilst Kyle drummed for blue experience in the early 80's and lynton had previously played guitar and bass in eddy punch clock, and White Rain.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
over the years our members have played right around Australia as DJ's, performers, Stunt guys, other bands but as Dehive we have played only a couple shows due to the chill out vibe of our music. We find most people listen to our music when coming down
Your musical influences
Imagine a sunday you have a few friends chilling out at your place after a big night out in summer. You want to listen to a varying array of music but all with that chill out vibe, there are some catchy hip hop beats and also some house grooves with a whiole lot of chill out and lounge experimentation
