Def Con 3 are a 3 piece Grunge/Punk/Alternative band from Machynlleth in Mid Wales. Formed in Mid 2006, we started out jamming on songs done by our favourite bands such as Nirvana, Silverchair, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and many others and then decided to begin writing our own material. We are still undecided on what genre our music would fit into but our main influences come from early 90's Grunge rock and some old school punk. We've just completed out first E.P 'Wasted Journey' and are looking to gig n order to try and promote and just have fun whilst playing live.Have you performed in front of an audience?We have only played a handful of gigs so far in around our hometown.... hope to play a lot more in new places soon

Basically a grunge, punk and alternative mix! Main influences are: Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Silverchair, RHCP, Metallica, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, RATM...... you kinda get the picture! heheWhat equipment do you use?

I love the new song too. Keep it up! I think guys definitely have the potential to go far in the music industry.
Can I just say, I've been going through people's soundclicks for about an hour today, and not one of those bands/artists were as professionally sounding as you guys. I congratulate you on your amazing music. Even if you don't make it in the music industry, I would just say, don't feel down. I think your music is very good. I can definitely say you're up there with Nirvana and them, no joke.
