Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been around music his entire life. I received my first guitar at the age of two and had begun playing drums by age five. I went on to become proficient at several instruments. Growing up in a strict Christian environment, I was only allowed to play in church and listen to gospel music. I played his first professional gig at the age of thirteen. After graduating from grammar school, I became interested in songwriting and recording. I began to focus on honing my musical talents. I have worked on projects with and for Chicago Mass Choir, Spike Rebel, C-Note, Transcontinental Records, Captain Hollywood, Carol Brett, D-Black, 3rd Wish, Actual Management (O-Town), Fred McKnight (Brian and Claude McKnight) and others.
Your musical influences
The music of Stevie Wonder, the GAP Band, Prince, the Isley Brothers, Al Green and other artists. Producers such as R. Kelly, Teddy Riley, Brian McKnight, and Jam and Lewis have also had an influence on me. I listen to everything though because good music is good music.
