Deemyon
DEEMYON is the primary proponent of "Shtoos" music in this hemisphere. Shtoos began in the islands (Staten and Long) in the 90's, evolving as an outgrowth of alt rock with classical influences. Working below sea level and near high voltage lines Deemyon has developed a solid fan base of waiters and waitresses who sometimes offer to carry their stuff. Their driving rhythms, modal harmonies and haunting melodies have induced tympanic myoclonus in their crazed screaming fans at many performances. Johann Sebastian would have approved.

We've been around for 10 years making the world safe for loud music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
"Live" is our prefered mode of play. It sure beats dead , comatose or dismembered. We play in the NYC area. Favorite moment- flames shooting out of the amp.
