Decoy
Decoy was started in the fall of 2001 with John Strand and Mark Sutor meeting up. They were both pretty new at their instruments and decided to start playing together. Soon after they both knew they needed to find a guitarist and found one of Mark's old grammar school friends, Steve Cielinski. They were now writing songs and practicing constantly, but the last part was needed. Mike Lach now came to the band for the vocals. Decoy was complete and started to write. About a year later they completed a 5 song EP and are doing a good amount of shows around the suburbs of Chicago. We are all juniors in high s school and practice almost every day. Right now they are hoping to get some notice with their EP, and will be preparing to do a full length in the not-too-distant future.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We try to play live all the time, and we all love it.
