WELCOME TO MY BAND PAGE LISTEN TO THE ACOUSTIC RECORDED LIVE DEMOS AND ENJOY. I am a singer songwriter living in a huge subculture of songwriters in NASHVILLE TENNESSEE. Every where you step you run into a songwriter here. Its nice to have such a large support group. LIKE "A.A." for songwriters we get together on any stage that will accommodate us and PLAY as many songs as we can get away with. There is a good mix of new intermediate and hit writers old young every culture and every genre although if you ask they will say Nashville is country music! I know lots of other types of musicians and writers who do more than just country. I love it here... I THINK ILL STAY!
Band/artist history
The world is my band join in Im not shy. I do what I like and if anyone wants to hop on to my stage and make music with me, righton. I have been in a few bands but nothing worth writing home about one is still a working band.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live at most songwriter venues in Nashville. www.nashvillemuse.com is one place you can catch a current listing of live places and musicians, I'll be on the list. I also play little spots all over Tennessee. When I am traveling if I know an artist or writer in that area I usually try to get out to see them and I will play if I am asked. I dont mind listening, but I love to entertain. So invite me out and I will put on a show!
Your musical influences
James Tayler is probably one of the biggest musical influences for me, Norah Jones is another big one, Emmy lou Harris, Bette Middler, Madonna, Billy Joel, Reo speed wagon, Journey, Billy Holiday, Diana Kroll, Carley Simon very much as well as Karen Carpenter. I find myself very drawn to the singer songwriters of the 60's Melanie is my favorite. Ive been likened to many of those dynamic singer's but I know I am only a hollow 1/4 of them.
What equipment do you use?
I have a jumbo hollow body white Washburn I adore (her name is Lilly) and a sassy black Takamine that really sounds great plugged in at an open mic, (I call her Madonna)

I HOPE YOU LIKE MY STUFF, If you do refer me to friends and lets get this internet to rock the music industry on their EAR. the public has the right to CHOOSE what they like and not have it chosen for them. Your support will strengthen the ARTISTIC side and let the music flow... I am such a non conformist this is the perfect venue for me. If you hate me turn it off for goodness sake. As for my songs---If you dont get it listen 3x and you'll never forget it in fact you may even find yourself humming it.
