Deagle

Deagle is a 3 piece rock trio from New Brunswick, NJ. Deagle's sound comes from a wide range of influences of the world of punk, rock, hardcore, and metal. Deagle combines the strength of dual-harmonizing guitars, hard-pounding vocals and drums, and solid song structures to make their sound work.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Hailing from New Brunswick, NJ, Deagle is one of the few bands that still keep their originality. Rob (Vocals/Guitar), Greg (Bass), and Lucas (Drums), have been writing and playing together for almost 2 years and counting. Deagle's live show captures the energy and emotion that their powerful music delivers and their work ethic proves it. Since forming in December of 2002, and playing their first show in March 2003, Deagle has self-released an EP entitled "When Paris Sizzles", and went on a semi-national tour in support of it eventually selling over 500 copies. They also performed on the 2003 Van's Warped Tour and in the winter, they went on to record the follow-up CD/EP, The Waiting Room at Planetarium Studios in Mt. Pocono, PA. In April 2004, Deagle was selected as a Pure Pick on the popular site Purevolume.com and have been featured on many other sites including My Space, AcclaimedPunk.com, and Smartpunk.com. In May of 2004, Deagle released their follow up CD/EP, "The Waiting Room" on Rockout Records (a small indie label based our of Long Island, NY) and toured nationally from NJ to CA and back in support of it all summer long for a total of over 40 dates. Later on in 2004, Deagle received endorsements from Hartke/Samson Technologies and Truth Drums. Early 2005, Deagle will be going on their 3rd East Coast Tour in support of the EP, will be featured in a new Hartke/Samson catalogue to be distributed at Sam Ash Music stores nationwide, and will be featured on the next Rockout Records compilation CD along with Fearless and Asian Man Records bands.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
