Deaf Symphony

Deaf Symphony is Matt Cerbin-guitars, bass and keyboards, Howard Askeland- guitars, Larry Cox-drums, and Chris Rogers-vocals. The music is heavy metal with a gothic and somewhat progressive feel. The cd Black Garden has Matt on vocals but the new material yet to be released has Chis handling the vocals and he's much better at it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Matt has been playing guitar forever. He has experience in live sound and record production. Howard has been is several bands over the years and is a great song writer. Larry has been a professional drummer both live and studio session player forever as well. Chris has a great rock voice and I wonder why he settles for us. Because of the ability to build a quality home studio without spending millions of dollars and the ability to reach an audience through the internet, we have been able to fullfill this dream of making music we love and getting it out for others to enjoy.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We are just a recording project for the moment. Once the CD "Chains of Love" is released, then we'll start booking gigs.
Your musical influences
Many many influences. Just a few here. All the great shredders like Malmsteen and Becker, New metal bands like Disturbed, Black metal bands like Dimmu, and progressive bands like Dream Theater.
