We are a 4-piece band from San Jose, California. The band started back in 2003, when the band was in 8th grade. Andrew Sheng and Andy Seroff(old guitarist) played for fun. They were joined by Aditya Rudrakshi on bass. After Adit joined, the band couldn't get a right set-up. If they were good at something, they were lacking elsewhere. This is when they decided they needed to get another guitarist. Andrew had been in contact with a guy named Jalaj who played guitar. Andrew called him over to jam with the band, and quickly named him the lead guitarist of the band. With the lineup finally set at Andrew on drums, Andy on 2nd Guitar, Adit on bass, and Jalaj on Lead Guitar, Deafstrike decided to enter the "Battle of the Bands" at Miller Middle School. This was the first time that any band had ever played at Miller Middle School. They went up against a band called The Smurfs, which were pretty good. In the end, no band won, and everyone just had fun. A couple months later, Andy left the band. Before this time period, Deafstrike started to create songs. They created about 4 songs and then Jalaj had surgery on his left arm because of a tumor. A couple months later, he was back in action and the band started to make songs at a rapid rateContact
