DEAD was formed from the remnants of Tampa band Stonehenge on 12/31/84. It originally featured Inverter of Crosses on guitar, Death on drums, and Vomit Puslicker on bass. When Inverter of Crosses left the band, DEAD was joined by Satanic Aggressor on guitar. Within a few months, for the sake of continuity, Death changed his name to Mucus Shitslime, and Satanic Aggressor changed his name to Diarrhea Maggot. With the classic lineup in place, DEAD recorded their first demo "Musical Abortions". This recording prompted a flood of correspondence from around the globe, which because of a brief hiatus the band was never able to follow up on. In 1988, DEAD began playing together again at a new rehearsal studio and recorded their 2nd demo "Raw Sewage". The sound quality was better than the 1st demo, and led to some vigorous gigging in and around Tampa. After a brief stint with a dedicated vocalist, we finally split up in 1991.Your musical influences
