It all started with an artist - Kent Guerrier - OMEGA R.E.D. aka BONEZ JUSTYCE - who had just came off tour with an old crewmate was looking for a way to take control of his own career instead letting this industry ruin it. So he made a phone call to his long time partner and cousin - Viky Blaise aka Vik Blaze - He Explain blaze that he was trying to make a venture on this music thing and wanted to start his own label and have his cuz run it along side of him. Since then Omega has Released his 1st volume of his mixtape In & Out The Boothe Series which was Internet and street pushed and then they put out his highly anticipated EP "The R.E.D." Which receives great reviews and which went on to move on 1500 copies and still online for download .. on megauplaod..fileforge etc. Most Recently they have dropped volume 2 of the series. which is pushing high in sales right now. While they are hustling this project they have went back into the studio and is currently working on omega's highly awaited debut album "Now Or Neva." While in the process of releasing this project they have developed an idea to help them establish themselves as young Haitian entrepreneurs. They came up with a hot concept to help they fellow Haitian artist who was sick in tired of seeing everyone in the industry claiming to be us [HAITIANS] and using our names for fame so they decided to link up with ...

The Plan
Ladies and Gentlemen, this letter is going out to all upcoming and known Haitian artists that are looking for some extra exposure. Dead Poetz Ent in collaboration with Bel Bagay Entertainment, are now working on a way for artists like you to get your name and songs out there. We have a mapped out plan on putting together an official compilation cd of Haitian music in all of its genres from hip hop to R&B, reggae, and kompa. If you believe you have talent and your song is that next hit to help the Haitian scene in mainstream music, we are committed to making a compilation to help promote and market your talent. There are too many talented Haitian artists out here that are not getting the proper burn plus we are sick and tired of artists who are not us wearing our flags boasting about knowing us be involved with Haitians in order to gain street credibility. It's time, we as Haitian artists take it back and use our names for our own cause and not theirs. Who is willing to help their fellow Haitians? Or target audience is anyone and everyone who are willing to listen. That's why we want artist of all genres and walks of life from rap to R&B, jazz, kompa, reggae, zouk, spoken word, etc.
The Requirements
The mixtape is something we are doing off the strength and love of our own people and artist. We are putting up the funding for the copies and the work to get it done properly. All we asks of the artist is this for you to email us your hit via email @ Deadpoetzent@aol,com or stevenson_noel@hotmail.com . Along with your song you must include name/stage name/location/and way for you to be contacted. Since this all is done off the strength we like all artist respect timeline dates and other deadlines we will give.
How u will receive your copy of the CD
Each artist who makes the cd. Will be sent an official press release copy of the cd. Since the album is your way of marketing yourselves we advise you to make copies of the mix yourself and make profit off your work. And which this way the entire artist on the cd makes profit off the album. The more effort you put into selling the mixtape. The more profit you will see which goes for everyone on it. Sites will be provided if need places to redownload the booklet art if needed.
What is needed at the moment?
Artist to verify if they are willing to do the cd we already have Haitian artists down with the cause to be on it [like .... BILLY KAIN,ZOE BOYZ,DONCARLO,CARLITO P SCORPIO of vcd, NEGMARON,MIKE P,OMEGA R.E.D., M.A.J., Baysiqly, etc., the list goes on But we also want to diversify the cd by having artist from multi regions. Deadlines
We are asking that all artist turn in there songs, picture, name, and website link by July 17. In which gives us time to sort the tracklisting skits intro gives host and DJ time to put drops on the project. We are going for an August release but in order to do so we need you [the artists] to lock down what track or tracks [some are offering 2 tracks so they can get more burn] you want to be on the cd and we you to turn in your info ASAP so we can get the ball rolling please do not go over the deadline. So once again all songs and info should be turned in no later then JULY 17 WHICH IS A MONDAY PEOPLE!
What We Plan On Doing For You!
Here is the game planWith the finish copy of the album we plan on sending all the artist a copy of the ASCAP form to make sure all artist respectable endorse and properly paid [in case radio or tv or any other publication picks up the album or songs from it]. Also all artist who have not yet copy written their songs for the cd we will copy all material for you at no cost to you thats why its so important all songs are turned in by JULY 17 DEADLINE. We also plan on shipping a copy of the cd out to all major and minor labels in effort of it getting picked up.
Who Will Be Sponsoring Us Now?
Okay the Album has some backers now Our project has been picked up by haitiXchange.com & Cdbaby.com A couple of local and popular stores in New Jersey New York Canada Boston and Florida plan on carrying the album and we are in talks with others to get your work out there we are reaching out west at the moment [we will keep you posted on that]. We are also trying to lock down some other online stores.
Who Is Hosting The Project?
At the moment one of our hosts is the one and only Dj Dujour. We Are in talks we a couple Heavy Hitters [Jimmy Henchmen [famous Haitian manager for the likes of brandy and the game] Garcelle Bouevia [of the Jamie Foxx show], & Samuel Dalembert [of the Phil. 76ers] So as you can see we are doing our best to make sure this project is a big deal so we would appreciate that you give us bangers and nothing short of your best. We also ask if artist know or got connects to please dont be afraid to let us know.
