Tim Henley - Keyboards, Manic Guitar, Vocals
Bret Hutchinson - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Matt Olson - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We've been around for almost 20 years now. We all started as young teenagers who didn't hear what we wanted on the radio, so we made up our own music to listen to. It's starting to get like that again on the radio today...everything seems either blatantly crappy pop or the same old stuff from another generic "rock" band. Corporate radio is destroying music for another generation, hopefully the internet will change things and make interesting music available to the public again.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played live many times in the Chicago area. It's always interesting and enjoyable to get out in front of people and put out something that you created and see what comes back from the audience. Our worst gig was in front of 5 people, 2 of which were in the opening band...but you just have to keep on playing.
Your musical influences
We grew up on the Cure, Bauhaus, Depeche Mode, The Church, the Velvet Underground, and other "classic rock" bands. We always kept an ear open for interesting music and we could occasionally be found listening to the Doors, the Beatles, Miles Davis, and Chet Baker. We also like the Freeze, Dinosaur Jr., Hawkwind, and some Pink Floyd now and again.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars, Bass, Drums, and Keyboards. We play Fender, Kramer, Hohner, Ibanez, Tama, Yamaha, Casio, and some more Yamaha...
Anything else?
We hope that you enjoy the music. We had a blast making it. There's a little something for everyone...
