DC Carson is an artist/writer/producer with a flare for music that sings to the soul. His music is desinged to move your body, mind and spirit.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been doing music all my life. I went from secular to Gospel music and now I just write from my heart. Music is from the soul and it sets the mood. I want to set a new mood in the music business as well as in the lives of my fans.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, but where I live there aren't a lot of places to do shows. Hopefully that will change
Your musical influences
Lionel Riche is one. I grew up in Tuskegee, AL and used to go to the town square on Saturdays to listen to them sing before they became huge.
As a teenager, I was into Babyface big time. I could write a dissertation on his music because I studied it. I also liked Al B Sure and New Edition.
Now, I listen to everything. I am starting to love country a lot because the music is technically sound (I love acoustic guitars), vocals are warm and pure and there seems to be a point to it. Not that R & B is bad, but it is different than what I grew up with.
I also like hip-hop. My favorite MC's would be butterfly from digable planets (old school) and of course Q-tip from tribe
What equipment do you use?
I use a laptop, Nuendo, Triton, JV1080, acoustic guitar and much, much, more.

I just want to say to anyone that supports me, thanks, I love you and I pray Christ's blessing upon you. Bob your head, move your body and open your soul to what my music is saying and just be passionate about life. There is sooooo much to live more.
