DBPIT (der bekannte post-industrielle trompeter) is my solo, experimental/industrial project; main instrument, the trumpet and a lot of computer-editing, sound effect processors and field recording---
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
afetr several years of partecipations side by side with the most relevant members
of Roman underground scene, Flavio Rivabella (aka DBPIT)
set off for an entirely new adventure when, in the year 2K,
the leader of the sperimental/post-industrial band "Mushroom's Patience",
Raffaele Cerroni, summoned him to record his strangely-tuned trumpet in a couple of tracks
for his forthcoming album "roma-wien" (oktagon/misty circles);
DBPIT's presence in Mushroom's Patience's works as well as in their live sets lasted till 2005;
in may 2002 Misty Circles produced the first solo attempt by DBPIT: "eleven"
after that, several albums were issued (please see www.derbekannte.com -- discography for further details)
