Dawson and the Cosmos
WE HAVE LANDED! Dawson and the Cosmos is a RAWK band on the crux of the universe. There used to be a rubberband here with us but it snapped a couple years ago. We are officially back! We have purchased drums and are practicing for some live shows. The only thing I'm sorry about is our lost recording of the song, "Rock 'n' Motherf***in' Roll!"

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started in a garage. As soon as we moved the drums out of the garage and into the living room, we broke up. While we were in the garage we came up with such favorites as "The Trip," "Chock Full of Song," "I am Darkness, I'm a Brain," "Fort Tejon" and "We Have Landed!"
After moving to the living room we had only 2 hits ("Tears of the Flame" and "You're Gonna Lose Your Head",) but they were monumental.
We have purchased a set of drums. We are practicing up an ear bleed rock explosion. So watch out!

Your musical influences
AC/DC, The Who, Neil Young, Ten Years After, Blind Willie Johnson, Led Zepellin, Elvis, Black Sabbath, Cream, The Stooges, Spinal Tap.
What equipment do you use?
We use all kinds of cheap equipment we borrowed or scraped the money together to buy. Like an Epiphone Electric guitar, a broken Fender bass and a set of Ludwig drums that were on loan. And now a used set of Pacific drums.
