We are Dawn of Erebus. We create this music because it is the only way to truly express our hatred to the mundane, society, the so called 'beautiful', and anyone who can't be happy in their own skin. We are the spit in their face. Our music is the dirt in their eyes. We are driven by disgust and hatred toward the weak-minded, the sheep. We are Dawn of Erebus and we're waging a fucking war.
Band/artist history
In 2007 vocalist Kevin Plummer and guitarist Chris Shelton formed Dawn of Erebus. They enlisted bassist Dan Pizappi, drummer Gabe Haynes, and guitarist Doug Nawoschik to round out the line up.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play out as often as possible. So far we have played mostly local shows in Middletown, Poughkeepsie and the surrounding areas but we are planning to take this show on the road come summer of 2010.
Your musical influences
We take influence from all over. From modern bands like Whitechapel and Oceano to old school powerhouses like Diecide and Death. We even throw in some Black Metal influence for shits and giggles.
