No band these days... just a writer recording my own demo's.
Band/artist history
Played steadily over a 15 year span with bands all around the Metro-Detroit area. My resume includes:Revelation (Variety), Ambush(Classic rock/country), Bonnie and the Working Girls (50s-60's ), Southbound(country), and Northern Edge(Top 40 country).
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not anymore-Currently host a weekend Karaoke show in my hometown.
Your musical influences
I like songs that are concise, touching, and tell a story of some sort. I think I tend to write around my own likes.... Vocally- I've been told I remind people of- Anne Murray, Jewel, Toni Tenille, Kelly Clarkson and Martina.... kind of diversified huh? I try to just be ME!
What equipment do you use?
I apologize for not knowing what they use at the studio I record at. I Play a Roland D-50. I use Shure-58's on stage......
Anything else?
Thank you for stopping by my site! I hope you enjoyed something here--- and if you did- please leave me a note! Take Care!!!!

This song has such a 50's rockabilly feel to it! It has a lot of potential to do a lot of things in the music, and I definitely hear call and response harmony lines all through it. (I was singing them with you. haha) Really nice job....happy-go-lucky song. You really captured the mood you're describing here.
A person's foolish pride oftentimes is regretted later. It's something I believe we all have dealt with and wish we could change. Love this song....the chorus is beautiful, and it teaches valuable lessons in the lyrics. A song that everyone should hear as perhaps there wouldn't be as much guilt after it's too late if people took the time to think about what you're singing about here.
A very positive uplifting song about a mother's love! It's always a good feeling to know you've got somewhere to go no matter what happens in life. Good story telling...and I love the melody, especially in the chorus. This is one of my favorite songs you have posted. Very nice job!
This is a really touching song about being a parent and watching a child grow up year by year. I especially felt the second verse - Being a nervous child beyond belief, I cried many, many tears whenever being dropped off at school. I knew it must have torn my parents apart. Great song, Dawn.
Cute song about your youngest daughter. I like the bounce in the music and melody of this song. According to the lyrics, they sum up your daughter's personality quite well!
