David Sonnentiger
David Sonnentiger started to play the piano at the age of eight. After a long break of not doing any music, he began to mix Drum n Bass as a DJ. Not satisfied of only replaying the music of other artists and fascinated from the possibilities of producing electronic music on the home computer, 5 years ago he started to produce HipHop-beats for his crew, the San Vito Clan, in which he also used to perform as a rapper. With the pass of time, he got more and more into pure instrumental beats.
2 years ago, his work totally changed: Influenced by Oldschool Goa Trance from the early nineties and Goa parties, he decided to produce his first Goa songs. In 2007, when he felt, that his sound had grown mature, he started to play DJ-Sets on little Goa Parties, with the intent to spread his music and to present it to a bigger public. This had a significant influence on his production style: realizing, that the main style played on those parties was the harder and not so melodic produced Full On, he dabbled in producing this music.
In present, after living for half a year in Spain, where he also had the pleasure to make people dancing, he goes forward to his roots: while starting from new to play the piano, he combines his psychedelic and expressive melodies with the up to date techniques of Full On, as there are a stronger kick and a driving rhythm structure. His next project is a live set, that will express his unique vision of Psychedelic Trance Music on various parties in spring and summer 2008.
