Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started playing guitar when I was 6 years old, and have played and studied with some fabulous musicians over the years, including jazz guitar phenom Rob Campbell, Eli Kassner and Pino Boni.
Over the past decade or so, I have played with many good bands. My favourite was probably my high school band because there's just something about high school bands that brings back good memories! Since I was 12, I've been writing instrumental rock songs in hopes of one day setting out on a solo career.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live, right now there are no dates scheduled, but I'll definately keep you all posted for future dates.
Playing live is best described as 'absolute freedom'...a feeling you just can't get anywhere else.
Your musical influences
When I first started out playing guitar, I began with the essentials. Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen were a few of my favourites. I then got into guys like Vai, Satriani, Bettencourt, and Petrucci, all of whom have played a huge role in the development of my personal style.
Musically, there's not much I don't like. I'm the type of person that can get real satisfaction from any type of music, and I try to reflect my interests in my playing and composition.
