Rollin' Medley Rollin' Medley
As usual, a spontaneous recording, this time with the new steel Delphi.
Delphi Steel Delphi Steel
Taking my new Delphi for a spin. Whole other voice than my tricone. Features a few verses from a well-known song.
Move Move
Eight-bar thing on my tricone with a slow heavy beat. Friend of mine played it for me, I felt like doing my own version.
Hambone Hambone
The rawer department. I recently heard a great version by Sam Mitchell, and I liked the riff so much I had to try it.
Amazing Grace Amazing Grace
The mother of all slide guitar hymns - as I was able to do it today.
Austin Austin
Inspired by Cooder's "Houston in five seconds" from the "Paris, Texas" set. Damn phone rings in the end, but that's the way it turned out.
Medley: Wing and a Prayer/ By and by Medley: Wing and a Prayer/ By and by
It's groove thing - you'll have to excuse the singing, though ;)
Dark was the Night (Duo) Dark was the Night (Duo)
Yet another variation on Blind Willie's famous theme, this time with Rasmus on pedalsteel.
Bad luck Bad luck
This is really a collaboration with my old friend Rasmus Frederiksen on pedal steel.
Dark was the night Dark was the night
Ry Cooder calls the inspiration behind this tune "the most transcendent piece in all American history". My hope is that I have been able to convey a bit of this transcendence here.
