DASL-Zen Tread
Sound investigations: electronic and acoustic.
DASLZen Tread had one release which is now out of print, and were a unit from 2000 to 2001. The DZT website is currently unavailable.
Thanks for visiting. The sound files that were once available, were removed by Soundclick.
Perhaps MP3s will be made available again sometime in the future. What equipment do you use?
photo-electron spectrometer, servohydraulic testing equipment, microwave chamber, catalytic microreactor,Metasynth, diffractometer,Rebirth module, osmometer, electroanalyser,Sound Forge editor,2 Microvax computers,1 IBM computer,1 Macintosh computer, access to ion beam analyses facility, high intensity gamma ray resource,SODAR,E-field and H-field probes, access to spark chamber.....Hello Pieter. Sorry, right now the cd is only available directly through our label. A lower price should be the advantage of this. If this is not the case, send us an e-mail and let us know. We could figure something out. Thanks for the compliments! Is your CD also available through Staalplaat Open Circuit? That would simplify things considerably. Only have to go to Amsterdam to pick it up! Hillegom, The Netherlands.Kick ass music guys! Seems like seattle can deliver something nicer than dumb-guitar noise. You do remind me a lot of the mythical Finnish formation Pan Sonic (formally known as Panasonic). Of which legends state that they have found a frequency on which humans will empty their intestines. Very messy during live shows. Hillegom, The NetherlandsA CDR is now available. Go to http://overheard.homestead.com/zenT.html and click on CD Availability. A couple of the mp3's available through soundclick are tracks on the cd release. This is the first cd release of DZT and it combines their scientific sonic research with clandestine work environment recordings to create thought provoking electroacoustic documents. Not very hip, just plain cool. All comments (7)
