Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Stephen Sanders, mostly known as sanderz1, goes by many aliases such as AK Sandglock, Jangalang, Dangalang, and the ever popular Crunchy Butter Roundkin. He wuz da hardest fool in da streetz before waking up one day to find all his hoes had left town. He was left distraught and with feelings of worthlessness. This is when Da Nip Nippler came into his life and taught him to put his emotions on CDs so the rest of the world could learn from his vast knowledge. This gave him a true sense of self worth and a reason for being. He's been tearin ish up e'ery since, ya heard!?!
When Kris Todd, AKA Da Nip Nippler was a child, his family marveled at his poetic prowess. Growing in the hardest ghetto Arkansas has to offer and being raised up with monkeys and cockroaches hardened him to the point that he breathed lyrical fire. What better way to do that than make his own CDs? So he's been doin that ish ever since, na mean!?!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play with ourselves e'eryday and its pretty live. Yeah, we likes it pretty good and we have a special moment at least once a day. Word life!
Your musical influences
sanderz1's main influences growing up were rap pioneers Da Freez Gang, Jellyroll McStaypuft, and KillAllTheCrackaz. These groups planted the seed in his mind that would later grow into "The Forbidden Tree of Lyrical Genius" that resides in his head
Da Nip Nippler grow up on more comtemporary artist such as Tha Sweetnutz, Sugarbowl Rumpshake, and OhShitMamaDoneWentAndSwungAtMeWithAClothesHanger. That last group is the one that he adapted his amazing flowing style from.
