Darling Martians

The Darling Martians are just that: Darling little green things from Mars. We don't have fingers. How am I typing this, you ask? I have special Martian technology called "IBM ViaVoice". I'll bet you didn't know that it was Martian technology, did you? The Darling Martians are fronted by Bob. We are a virtual group, combining vocalists and instrumentalists from across the Martian planet to play a variety of music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The Darling Martians were put together by a Swedish chef named Sven. Once we escaped from the pot, with Sven chasing us, we decided to form a rock band. Since we are virtual, getting talent from across Mars, let me know if you would like to be a part of the Darling Martians, contributing vocally or instrumentally. We have several musicians who are thousands of miles away, in Tennessee, Virginia, Utah, etc.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play live every night right behind the Mars rover. It doesn't see us, as we look just like the Martian landscape.
Your musical influences
We have an unfortunate variety of musical influences from Randy Newman and The Stray Cats to Greenday and The Beatles, and from Depeche Mode to Pearl Jam. One day soon, I will settle myself on listing only the quirky bands I like, but for now, listen to the eclectic mix of music.
What equipment do you use?
Samick Electric Bass Guitar Roland V-Drums JB Player Electric Guitar Yamaha Acoustic Guitar Takamine Acoustic Guitar (Tony) Yamaha Recorder A mandolin made by Luthier Extraordinaire, Rick Shorten A voice made by my parents and God. Kawai K-1 Synthesizer. Quartz Studio 32 for recording.
