We are Dark New Addiction (d.n.a) a fairly new alt/punk band from leeds looking for gigs and promotion. We have our own distinct sound and aren't all down and depressing like most of todays bands. We consist of Stuart Starkie-Lead Vocals, Chris Watson-Vocals and Bass, Richard McMaster-(some vocals soon maybe)Lead Guitar and Dom Bennison(guitarist of Crimson Daydream) on drums. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We formed in summer 2005 me(Richard)and chris we realised that chris and i could sing but we needed a lead vocalist so we found our mate Stuart had a good singing voice we made our first ever song in the summer holidays, i think it was called Feelings or something but anyway from there we just kept writing and coming up with even better songs until we finally found our first amazing song, trouble is we needed drums and so who better than our other mate Dom then it was formed the band name became Dark New Addiction and from there... We Rocked
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
erm not really regularly yet but we are in the future around Leeds. Special moment was probably when everyone was singing along to our song 'Music to Heal the Scars of Fear'at only our second ever gig.
