Guitar, bass, vocals, and a drum machine.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started recording solo a little less than a year ago. I have finished 3 CDs.
- Last Trick On Two
- Chamber Of Solitude
- Under The Tree Insanity
Last Trick is pretty much the most straight forward of the three. 13 songs including 1 re-mix. I would say it is my favorite, most consistant and catchy.
Chamber of Solitude was a concept album. Wanted to get away from writing the same old whiney lyrics but found myself coming back to the all too familiar topics. I believe Sleep has to be the best song I have ever recorded. 9 songs ranging from acoustic/vocals to death metal.
Under the Tree Insanity has 8 songs, all acoustic with the exeption of 2 songs. Has sort of a trance type feel throughout the fist 5 songs, with lots of back ground vocals creating sort of an orchastra. Also includes a cover of Hayden's "My Parents House"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No not anymore. Used to, when I was in Unearthed, collapse, Leprosy, and Conspiracy. All Ventura, Ca. based bands that played mostly in S. Cal. with a few west coast tours.
I did like playing live and would do it again if the circumstances were right. It is difficult though since all of the people that I would like to play with are on the opposite side of the country now.
