Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
& first met in primary school. But then went on to seperate high schools. Years later after high school, broke ass went for a job interview at the village pub. On his first shift (as a washing up scrubber) he came to find out that parents owned the pub and worked there. had been a practasing MC for a while by now, but had only written his thoughts down, he didn't even have a flow. After work, would go back to place to begin writing tracks (and getting lifted) together as a group. taught how to flow and a tag team was formed, now known as . Born in Lebenon, first started MCin around 98/99 and recorded two solid solo albums using various instrumentals he could find to spit over and create good tracks. His first album was titled "Fed Up Of Being Fucked Around" and hit upon various diverse topics ranging from getting blazed the fuck out ("Roach") to getting revenge on a backstabbing mate ("Mr. Mcvie"). second album, titled "Couldn't Understand, Never Tried" demonstrated progression to a top form MC. With head banging hits such as "Tianamen Square" & "That Arab Shit" that caught local attention, the album was a very strong effort. After meeting back up with years later, has been recording tracks for the debut Dark Hawks album for the last year or so. Being heavily influenced by the Wu-Tang Clan, studied lyrics and the flows of his many rolemodels. Originally under the name , freestyled battle verses on the old 5 Elements forum with his internet tag team partner, known as . Taking it to the next level started writing his own tracks. never rapped his tracks though because haters put him down and said he could never make anything good. When started his pub job and met , he realised that good music could be made no matter what your colour, creed or background. took under his wing to turn him into what he is today. After going dead broke in the middle of trying to get the right beats for the debut album, decided to start producing himself and made some good and interesting beats, although he is still learning new things every day.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
1. - 'The Venue' in Canterbury (9th December 2003). rocked the whole crowd, wiped the other MC's out and got the whole club chanting his name. He claims it was "8 Mile Style", lol. 2. - 'Salford Student Union' on the outskirts on Manchester (18th May 2004). performed on stage with fellow MC . 3. - EL performs in Canterbury once again and beat all challengers to his title, winning the evening for the 2nd year running. 4. - 'The Attic' in Manchester (28th April 2005). performed with once again, but technical problems made this evening run far from smoothly.
