Dark Harlequin is a three piece power trio from Vancouver B.C. Consisting of Mick Nasty on Bass and lead vocals, Brock "Funk Doctor" MacInnes on Guitar and vox, and Mike "The Wolf" Woolford on Drums and vox, Dark Harlequin strives to create heavy rock with a timeless feel.
The members of Dark Harlequin have known each other for sometime now, but in late 2005 the timing was right to form the group. Mick has been playing bass in many bands for many years, all the while building his almost limitless knowledge of songs. Brock has played guitar for several bands of the years, most recently He was found lending a hand to Che Chapter 127 (RIP) by going out on a Cross Canada tour when a member couldn't make. The Wolf has played in several bands over the years as a guitarist, but it was only recently that the switch was made from guitar to drums. Ahh! How the lack of drummers can cause normally sane people to do crazy things!
We currently have two shows under our belt and many more to come. we have played the Columbia in the beautiful downtown eastside of Vancouver and also the Maplewood pub in North Vancouver. Thanks go out to Ira and the rest of Eden's Threesome for that show.
All three members of Dark Harlequin bring something different to bring to the table, but here's a few influences to think about, Motorhead, Q.O.T.S.A, The Misfits, Maiden, S.T.P
