DJ/Producer trying to make my name in drum and bass.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ive been into drum and bass/jungle since it all began, when it was called jungle tekno back in 92'/93' and ive been mixing for about 6 Years.
I like making my own tunes and have been doing for about 1 year so im still new to it.but reckon i know enough of the music to know what people like and want to hear.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Ive played at few clubs in Nottingham, England,where im from and had a fortnightly residency for about a year at a local drum and bass night, played at x-amount of house partys. My best moment was playing the last set of 99 at a place called the skyy club it was only small place but the place was still going for it!
Your musical influences
My influences come from Grooverider (the Godfather of drum and bass), Bad Company, Twisted individual, DJ Hype, DJ Craze, Roni Size and Krust to the lyrical side of Tupac, Biggie, Canibus, Dizzy Rascal, MC Spyda (Nottz Legend), Stevie Hyper D,MC Dynamite.......the list goes on!
What equipment do you use?
Reason 2.0, Cubase SX, Soundforge 6.0, Fruity loops studio
Anything else?
I dont just stick to one style of music when im making tunes. I also Make 4x4 garage beats, grime and hip hop beats aswell as my DnB. But at the moment im just concentrating on DnB
