Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ekliptik Entertainment officially launched in 2003, although its roots have been in place for months. Adhering to the labels motto, liek a real eklipse we have and will continue to: "Obstruct al competition." The label presently has 2 "official" artists, but has had many people come by and experiment w/ what the label has to offer.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Other then fooling around in the lab (ekliptik entertainment's studio) no other locations where I have done live performances.
Your musical influences
There have been many influences that have shaped the style of my production. I like certain elements from the Neptunes (their bizarre souds) as well as the uniqueness and effectiveness of Timbalands material. Dr. Dre as well as Alchemost gave me the inspiration to make my music more edgier and dark. As far as artist go, everyone from instrumentalist such as Wynton Marsalis.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha Motif and the Roland 5080 sound module.
Anything else?
